When I was trying to decided whether to keep my house, which has fallen to 60% of the loan value, or to do a short sale with it, it was a hard decision, because there is the thought that the bank would come after me to pursue deficience judgement since I am still have a job. So, knowing the subject about insolvency really help. The worse case is that I would file bankcracy and wipe out all the unsecure debt. I have been working on my short saling my house for the last three months, and the approval might be coming in a week or two. With the experience gained, I am going to help a friend to do a short sale on his house, which has fallen 50% of the valvue.
